We are also very proud to announce that we have partnered with the Southside Elementary School PTA in regards to the Stacie Stefka Fund. Stacie was instrumental in the creation of the Ruby Mountain Film Festival and was completely dedicated to education. We hope to capture her love of film and education while raising money for a memorial to be built on the Southside Elementary campus. Upon meeting with Steven Cook, the principal of Southside Elementary, we have determined that there will be a tree planted in her honor, as well as new playground equipment for the second grade classes. This will not be possible without your support. Each month continuously throughout the year fundraisers will be conducted to generate funds for this project in her honor. Donations are also currently being accepted at Southside Elementary. We hope that you, as a member of the Elko Cinema Society, will not only take part in these fantastic film screenings and events, but will also be willing to generously donate and contribute to this cause.
